VistaPrint also offers free return address labels, free business cards, free business card magnets, free calendar magnets, free postcards, free notecards, a free rubber address stamp, or other Monthly Specials.
Ordering your Free Custom Printed Hat from VistaPrint is pretty intuitive. In case you have any questions, though, we have included some step-by-step instructions below to help you. If you could use more than one Free Hat, be sure to note our Instructions for Re-ordering additional Free Custom Printed Hats at the bottom of this page.
Instructions for Ordering a Free Custom Printed Hat
- Click our Free Custom Printed Hat special link to the VistaPrint web site.
- Click Use a design template to see the various design templates (which offer various layouts).
- Select the design that you prefer. You can also:
- Browse Business related Designs (e.g., Political, Retail, or Sports),
- Browse Event related Designs (e.g., Fundraising, Team Sports)
- Browse Personal or Family Designs (e.g., Birthdays, Caricatures)
- Search Designs by keyword (e.g., wedding, baby, dog, cat, house), or
- Start with a Blank template (then add images and text).
- After you have selected a design, you can then enter your name and message and choose the color of your hat.
- If you would like to customize your hat further, you can then click Advanced Editing. This will activate the editing control, which will allow you to add images (from VistaPrint's extensive image library or an uploaded photo of your own), add text, change text fonts, bolding, alignment, etc.
- When you have completed the design of your free hat, approve the design (by entering your initials) and click Next to add the free hat to your shopping cart.
- Click on Cart (in the upper right corner) to see the free hat in your shopping cart, then click on Checkout to select your delivery time and address.
- Unless you need the hat expedited, we recommend their Slow shipping (which costs approx. $4.41). The slow shipping indicates a 21 day delivery time, but in our experience, we have found that we normally receive our hat or other VistaPrint items within 10 days (even when we selected the less expensive "Slow" shipping).
- Click Next to review your order and select your payment method.
- Click Place Order and your first free custom printed hat is on the way.
- If you could use more than one free hat, you can place additional orders to receive additional free hats (see instructions below for re-ordering additional free hats).
- VistaPrint also offers other monthly free products: business cards, standard & oversized postcards, small & large magnets, calendar magnets, rubber stamp,
note cards, or other
Monthly Specials.

Instructions for Re-ordering additional Free Custom Printed Hats
- Complete and place your order for your first Free Custom Printed Hat.
- Then come back to this page to again access our special VistaPrint link for a
Free Custom Printed Hat . - Click on My Account near the upper right corner of the VistaPrint page.
- Scroll down to Order History and re-order another Free Hat.
- Repeat these steps to order as many additional Free Hats as you would like.
